The font settings control the initial size of song text for all songs, but the size can be zoomed larger or smaller for each song.
The initial zoom for a new song is 200% for ChordPro song display and 100% for PDF song display and for printing to PDF. The actual display zoom may adjust smaller depending on screen size and the display mode (scrolling, paging, or one-page).
Section headings, chords, and lyrics scale with the zoom. The metadata and song notes above the lyrics do not.
There are three ways to change the zoom for an individual song.
When zooming larger, a line that is wider than the screen is handled by Long Lines in Song Format: split the line, shrink that line, or shrink the whole song.
Scrolling (vertical) keeps the chart in one column. A larger zoom makes the type bigger and the chart longer, so you scroll farther to reach the end. Auto scroll adjusts to this automatically to ensure scrolling lasts for the song's duration. SongFire uses the largest zoom that fits, up to the zoom you set on the song.
Paging (horizontal) breaks the chart into pages. A larger zoom fits fewer lines on each page, so the song takes more pages. A smaller zoom fits more on each page, and will fit multiple columns per page when possible.
One page (if it fits, otherwise Paging) tries to keep the whole chart on one screen. SongFire uses the largest zoom that fits, up to the zoom you set on the song. If the chart still will not fit, it switches to paging.
