Versions

A version family is one song kept in several forms: different keys, modified lyrics, different section flows, etc. They appear together in the song list regardless of title differences.

In the song list, the other versions sit indented under the base song. A bar along the left marks the family. The bar beside the base song bends at the top. The bar beside a version is straight.

Make a new version

Edit the song and tap Save.... Tap More options, then New Version. The chart you edited stays as it was. Your edits become another version in the family.

Join songs that already exist

On the song list, tap Select Songs and check two or more songs. Tap Join versions. They become one family. If any of the songs was already in a family, the others will join that family.

Compare, review, and change the family

Long-press a song in the list.

• Compare Versions appears when the song is in a family. The sheet lists the family, marks the version you long-pressed, and shows what differs. Manage Versions then offers Replace Diff with Base, Replace Base with Diff, and Swap Base and Diff.
• Remove from version family takes that chart out of the family. It stays in the library as its own song.
• Review song is the same kind of sheet for a song that has no other versions. It shows the other info, such as the date the song was last used in a set list.

Inside a set list, long-press a song for the same menu. When you pick a different version, Change Version in This Set uses that version at this spot in the set. Other sets that use the song stay as they are.
