Console Mode

Console Mode lets you edit the songs on this device from a web browser on a computer that is on the same network.

  1. Open Settings and choose the Console Mode section.
  2. Tap Console Mode. The screen shows Current library, Console URL, and Access code.
  3. On the other computer, open the Console URL in a browser and enter the access code.
  4. Leave the SongFire screen open while you edit. Don't tap Exit Console Mode until you have saved all your changes.
  5. Edit songs in the browser. Be careful to save your changes. The changes are written into the current library on this device.
  6. When you are finished, tap Exit Console Mode.
