Edit Foot Pedals

Each pedal is a trigger plus the actions that run when you press it. Open this screen with Edit Foot Pedals under Pedals & Touch Zones.

Pedal Types

Keyboard style pedals are always recognized. Recognize MIDI style pedals turns MIDI pedals on. This requires additional permissions. If Bluetooth is off, it says Pedals require Bluetooth to be enabled.

Add Pedal

Add Pedal is on the app bar. The dialog is titled Add Pedal for a new one and Edit Pedal when you tap a row under Current Pedal Definitions.

• Trigger shows the key or the MIDI message. Until you press something, it says No trigger selected.
• Press any foot pedal to change the trigger. Press the pedal you want to use. The dialog records that key or MIDI message. If another pedal already uses that press, the dialog says Duplicate trigger.
• Actions is the list that runs on that press. Add Action appends a step. The delete icon removes a step. The choices are the shared action list.

Cancel closes the dialog without saving. Save stores the pedal. Save stays off while the trigger is missing or duplicated. The delete icon on a saved row asks Delete Pedal Definition.
